Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms explain how Roquepress works with you: what we provide, what you can expect from us, what we need from you, and how payment, cancellation and ownership work. We've tried to keep them short and in plain English. Please read them before you buy from us, join our referral programme or use roquepress.com.

1. Who we are

roquepress.com is run by Roquepress Pte. Ltd., a private limited company registered in Singapore (UEN 201904482D) ("Roquepress", "we", "us", "our").

  • Registered address: 60 Paya Lebar Road #06-28, Singapore 409051
  • Email: hello@roquepress.com
  • Phone and WhatsApp: +65 8899 7513
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm (Singapore time)

Mulacan is Roquepress's own software and a division of Roquepress Pte. Ltd. Mulacan products are sold and used under their own terms and privacy notices on mulacan.com. Where those terms deal with a Mulacan product, they apply instead of these terms.

"You" means the person or business that buys from us, signs a proposal, joins our referral programme or uses our website. If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm you're authorised to do so.

2. How these terms fit with your proposal

When you buy a service, we'll agree the details in writing. That might be a quote, a proposal, an order form, an invoice or a confirming email (we call this the "Proposal"). Your agreement with us is made up of:

  1. the Proposal, and
  2. these terms.

If the Proposal and these terms disagree, the Proposal wins for that particular project.

Your agreement starts when you accept the Proposal in writing (including by email or WhatsApp) or pay the first invoice, whichever happens first.

3. What we provide

The exact scope of each service is what's listed on our pricing page at the time you buy, plus anything extra written in your Proposal. Anything not listed is not included. If you'd like something extra, we're happy to quote for it.

Timings are estimates, not guarantees. They depend on scope and on you sending us content, feedback, approvals and access on time (see section 6).

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD).
  • Prices on our website can change, but a change never affects a Proposal you've already accepted.
  • Project fees (websites, software, set-ups): payable as set out in your Proposal. We start work once the first payment has cleared.
  • Monthly plans: paid in advance at the start of each billing period, either monthly or quarterly.
  • Invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date unless your Proposal says otherwise. We accept bank transfer and PayNow.
  • Third-party costs such as domain names, hosting, software subscriptions, email-sending tools, phone numbers or calling credits, paid advertising and ad spend are not included in our fees unless your Proposal says so. You pay these directly or we pass them on at cost, as agreed in your Proposal.
  • Late payment: if an invoice is overdue, we may pause work and, for monthly plans, pause the service until it's paid. We'll always remind you first and give you at least 7 days' notice before pausing anything.
  • You're responsible for any bank charges or currency conversion fees on your side.

5. Monthly plans: billing, notice and cancellation

This applies to SEO & AI Search, the Web Care Plan and Agent Tuah. Each plan has two billing options.

Monthly billing

  • No contract. Your plan rolls on from month to month.
  • To cancel, give us at least 1 month's written notice (email to hello@roquepress.com is fine). The plan ends at the end of the billing month in which your notice period runs out, and that final month is payable.

Quarterly billing

  • You pay for 3 months at a time at the lower quarterly rate.
  • Each quarter must be completed in full. We don't refund part of a quarter if you stop early.
  • Your plan renews for another 3 months at the end of each quarter.
  • To stop it renewing, give us at least 1 month's written notice before the renewal date.

Changes to plan prices

If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you. If you're on quarterly billing, the new price applies only from your next quarter.

When a plan ends

  • We stop the work covered by the plan at the end of the final paid period.
  • We'll help you move any accounts, files or access that belong to you (see section 11) once all invoices are paid.
  • Accounts, tools, sending domains or numbers that we provide as part of the plan, and that aren't transferable, will be closed or switched off.

6. What we need from you

To deliver on time, we rely on you to:

  • give us accurate information about your business, services, prices and claims;
  • send content (text, images, logos, product details) and feedback promptly;
  • give us the access we need (for example to your domain, hosting, email, analytics or business profiles) and keep your own passwords secure;
  • name one person who can make decisions and approve work;
  • make sure anything you send us is yours to use, or that you have permission to use it, and that it's lawful and accurate;
  • make sure your business, and the way you use what we build, complies with the laws that apply to you, including advertising, consumer protection and personal data laws; and
  • tell us about any industry rules that affect your marketing (for example healthcare, finance, property or education).

If we're waiting for something from you, timelines move back by at least the same amount of time. If a project is on hold for more than 30 days because we're waiting on you, we may treat the current stage as complete and invoice for it.

7. Revisions, changes and approvals

  • Each project includes the number of revision rounds on the agreed scope set out in your Proposal.
  • Requests outside the agreed scope (new pages, new features, new integrations or a change of direction) are a change. We'll tell you if something is a change, and quote for it before doing it.
  • Once you approve a stage (for example a design, a page or a message template), later changes to that stage may be treated as a change.
  • A website or software build is treated as accepted when it goes live, or 7 days after we hand it over for review if you haven't reported a problem with the agreed scope, whichever is sooner.

8. Service-specific terms

8.1 Websites

  • Websites include what's listed for your package on our pricing page. For example, the One Page Website includes a single page, contact form, mobile responsiveness, basic SEO set-up, analytics integration and social links; the Full Website includes 3 to 5 custom pages, content strategy and copywriting, smart forms and automation, advanced SEO and analytics, blog set-up and conversion-focused landing pages.
  • Ongoing SEO, maintenance and edits after launch are not part of a website package. They're covered by the SEO & AI Search plan and the Web Care Plan.
  • Domain names and hosting are not included unless your Proposal says so.

8.2 SEO & AI Search

  • We work to improve your visibility in search engines and AI answer tools. We don't guarantee any particular ranking, traffic level, number of leads, or that any AI tool will mention or recommend you. Search engines and AI providers control their own results and change them without notice.
  • We build genuine authority. We don't buy links or use practices that break search engines' published rules.
  • Paid advertising and ad spend are not included.

8.3 Web Care Plan

  • The plan covers regular backups; security protection, monitoring and malware clean-up; software and component updates; daily uptime and security checks; performance checks and keeping your details current; edits and content updates on request; priority support and WhatsApp communication; and monthly reports.
  • Edits and content updates mean changes to existing content and pages. New pages, redesigns and new features are quoted separately.
  • The plan is maintenance, not hosting. Hosting is separate.
  • We take reasonable care to keep your site secure and running, but no provider can prevent every outage or attack. We don't promise a specific uptime percentage unless it's written into your Proposal.
  • Support is provided during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm Singapore time), excluding Singapore public holidays.
  • The plan is for websites we built or have agreed in writing to look after. We may need to review a site we didn't build before taking it on.

8.4 Agent Tuah (AI agent for inbound and outbound)

  • Agent Tuah answers and qualifies inbound enquiries, and runs researched, personalised outbound outreach and follow-up in your business's voice. Set-up can include a knowledge base of your approved facts, email sending set-up, warm-up and deliverability monitoring, and reporting on replies and meetings booked.
  • Co-pilot mode: we start in co-pilot mode, where you review and approve messages before they're sent. If you choose to let Agent Tuah send without approval, you accept responsibility for messages sent within the settings and facts you've approved.
  • AI can make mistakes. Agent Tuah works from the information you give it, but AI-generated replies, summaries and messages can be wrong or incomplete. Please check what it says about your prices, availability and services, and tell us at once if something needs correcting.
  • Your contacts and your compliance. You're responsible for having the right to contact the people Agent Tuah reaches on your behalf, including:
    • only giving us contact lists that were lawfully collected;
    • checking Singapore's Do Not Call Registry where the law requires it before calls or text messages are sent to Singapore numbers;
    • following the Spam Control Act 2007 for commercial emails and messages, including a working unsubscribe option; and
    • telling callers and contacts what the law requires (for example that they're speaking with an automated agent, or that a call may be recorded).
  • We'll set Agent Tuah up to honour unsubscribe and opt-out requests, and we'll stop or pause outreach if we believe it may break the law, a platform's rules or harm your sender reputation.
  • Third-party costs for email sending, phone numbers, call minutes or data are charged separately unless your Proposal says otherwise.
  • We don't guarantee a particular number of replies, meetings or sales.

8.5 Software development

  • Software is built to the scope in your Proposal. Software Development starts from S$5,000 for an MVP build, which can include scoping and architecture, core features, database and API set-up, user log-in and roles, testing, deployment and post-launch iteration support.
  • Post-launch iteration support lasts for the period set out in your Proposal. After that, ongoing maintenance, hosting and new features are quoted separately.
  • Hosting, infrastructure and third-party service costs are charged separately.
  • We test what we build, but software can have bugs. We'll fix defects in the agreed scope that you report during the post-launch support period at no extra cost.

9. Third-party platforms and tools

Many of our services run on third-party platforms, for example hosting and domain providers, CRM and marketing automation software, email and messaging services, phone services, analytics tools and AI model providers.

  • Those platforms have their own terms, and you may need to accept them.
  • We choose reputable providers, but we don't control them. We're not responsible for their outages, price changes, policy changes or account decisions (for example a platform suspending an account or changing how its search results or AI answers work).
  • If a provider changes or stops a feature we rely on, we'll tell you and suggest the best alternative. If that changes the cost, we'll agree it with you first.

10. Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with research, writing, design, coding and running AI agents. A person at Roquepress reviews AI-assisted work before we deliver it to you, except for messages Agent Tuah sends within the settings you've approved. You remain responsible for checking that facts, prices and claims about your business are correct before they're published.

11. Who owns what

  • Your materials stay yours. Content, logos, images, data and other materials you give us remain yours. You give us permission to use them only to provide our services to you.
  • What we make for you becomes yours once paid. When you've paid all fees for a project, you own the custom designs, copy and code we created specifically for you under that project.
  • What we keep. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, frameworks, code libraries, know-how and anything we created before or outside your project, including Mulacan. Where these form part of your deliverables, we give you a non-exclusive, ongoing licence to use them as part of those deliverables.
  • Third-party items (such as fonts, plugins, stock images or software components) are licensed under their own terms.
  • Accounts: where possible, domains, hosting, analytics and business profiles are set up in your name or transferred to you. Accounts on platforms we run for many clients stay in our control, and we'll export your data on request when the service ends.
  • Portfolio: we may show work we've done for you in our portfolio, unless you ask us not to in writing. We won't publish your confidential information or claim results you haven't agreed to.
  • Until all fees are paid, we may hold back the handover of files, code or account ownership for that project.

12. Confidentiality

We each agree to keep the other's confidential information private, to use it only for our work together, and to share it only with people who need it for that work (including our contractors and providers, who must keep it confidential too). This doesn't cover information that's already public, that the other party already had, or that the law requires us to disclose.

13. Personal data

We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and our Privacy Policy.

When we process personal data on your behalf (for example your customers' or leads' details in a CRM, website form, AI agent, WhatsApp or email inbox we run for you), we act as your data intermediary. That means:

  • you decide why that data is collected and used, and you're responsible for getting any consent and giving any notices the law requires, and for answering access and correction requests from your customers;
  • we use that data only to provide our services to you and on your instructions; protect it with reasonable security; keep it only as long as needed for the services, then delete or return it; and tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a data breach affecting it; and
  • we may use carefully chosen service providers, including providers that store data outside Singapore, and we'll require them to protect the data to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

If you need a separate data processing agreement, ask us and we'll provide one.

14. Our promises and their limits

We promise to provide our services with reasonable skill and care, and in line with the agreed scope.

Apart from that promise and anything we've written in your Proposal, and as far as the law allows:

  • we don't guarantee particular business results, such as leads, sales, rankings, AI mentions, replies or meetings booked;
  • we provide our website (roquepress.com) and its content for general information only; and
  • we don't promise that any website, software or system will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.

15. Limits on our liability

  • Our total liability to you for all claims under or in connection with an agreement is limited to the fees you paid us under that agreement in the 3 months before the claim arose.
  • We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data (other than restoring data from backups we're responsible for keeping under a Web Care Plan).
  • We're not liable for problems caused by third-party platforms, your instructions or materials, changes made by you or someone else to what we built, or events outside our reasonable control.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs if someone makes a claim against us because of materials you gave us, contact lists you supplied, messages or content you approved, or your breach of the law (including personal data, Do Not Call and spam laws).

17. Pausing and ending an agreement

  • Projects: you can cancel a project by giving us written notice. You pay for work done up to that point, and any third-party costs we've already committed to. Payments for work already done are not refundable.
  • Monthly plans end as set out in section 5.
  • Either of us can end an agreement straight away by written notice if the other seriously breaks these terms and doesn't fix it within 14 days of being asked to, or becomes insolvent.
  • We may pause or end a service if invoices stay unpaid after notice, or if we reasonably believe a service is being used unlawfully (for example to send spam or contact people without the right to do so).
  • When an agreement ends, sections that are meant to continue (such as payment, ownership, confidentiality, personal data and liability) continue to apply.

18. Referral Programme

Our referral programme rewards people who introduce new clients to Roquepress. Joining is free.

How a referral counts

  • Sign up through our referral page to get your referral link, or ask the business you refer to mention your name when they first contact us.
  • A referral is successful when the business you referred signs up with us and pays its first invoice.
  • If two people refer the same business, the reward goes to the first referrer whose link or name was used at first contact.
  • The business must be new to Roquepress: not an existing or past client, and not already in conversation with us. You can't refer yourself or your own business.

What you earn

Referred serviceReward
Website project above S$3,000S$300 cash or S$400 Roquepress credit
Monthly plan (SEO & AI Search, Web Care Plan or Agent Tuah)10% of the client's first month's fee, paid once. No recurring rewards.
  • For quarterly billing, "first month's fee" means the monthly rate (for example S$800 for SEO & AI Search, so a S$80 reward).
  • There's no cap on the number of successful referrals.
  • Reward amounts are set in Singapore dollars. If you live outside Singapore, we pay your cash reward in your local currency, converted at the exchange rate on the payout date.

Payout

  • We confirm your reward once the referred client's first invoice is paid, and process the payout within 14 business days after that.
  • Cash rewards are paid by bank transfer or an online payment service. You'll need to give us your payout details.
  • Roquepress credit can be used against future Roquepress invoices. It has no cash value, and can't be transferred.
  • If the referred client's first payment is refunded or reversed, the reward isn't payable (or we may deduct it from a later reward).
  • You're responsible for declaring rewards for tax in your own country, where that applies.

Fair play

  • Please refer people honestly. Don't spam, don't make promises on our behalf, don't run paid ads using our brand name, and don't pretend to be Roquepress.
  • We may refuse or reverse a reward if a referral breaks these rules.
  • We may change or end the referral programme with 30 days' notice on our website. Rewards already earned before a change will still be paid.

How we handle your details as a referrer, and the details of the business you refer, is explained in our Privacy Policy. Questions: hello@roquepress.com.

19. Using roquepress.com

  • You may browse and share our website for personal or business information.
  • Please don't copy our content, designs or graphics for commercial use without asking, try to break or overload the site, or use automated tools to collect personal data from it.
  • Our articles and guides are general information, not professional advice for your situation.
  • Links to other websites are for convenience. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

20. Events outside our control

Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as major outages at a platform or provider, internet failures, cyber attacks, natural disasters, pandemics or government action. We'll tell you as soon as we can and do our best to keep things moving.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date when we do. For existing clients, any change that affects you materially will apply only after we've given you at least 30 days' notice by email, or from your next quarter if you're on quarterly billing. The version in place when you accepted your Proposal applies to that project.

22. General

  • Whole agreement: your Proposal and these terms are the whole agreement between us for that work.
  • Transfer: you may not transfer your agreement without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a related company or a business that takes over our services, and we'll tell you if we do.
  • Subcontractors: we may use trusted contractors to help deliver our services. We remain responsible for their work.
  • Third parties: no one else has a right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.
  • If part is invalid: the rest of these terms still apply.
  • Notices: we'll send notices to the email address you've given us. You can send notices to hello@roquepress.com.
  • No waiver: if we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.

23. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

If something goes wrong, please talk to us first. Email hello@roquepress.com and we'll try to sort it out within 14 days. If we can't, we'll consider mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre before going to court. Otherwise, the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction.
