SEO and AI search services for Singapore service businesses

Be the business that gets found on Google, and the one that gets named when someone asks an AI assistant who to call.

Done for you · No bought links · No ranking guarantees we can't keep

The short answer: Roquepress does done-for-you SEO and AI search optimisation (GEO/AEO) for service businesses, so you can be found on Google and mentioned when people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews. It's built on classic SEO: consistent business details, a complete Google Business Profile, clear answer-first service pages, technical fixes and genuine local mentions.

Updated 18 October 2026

Dear business owner,

Try something for me.

Open ChatGPT, or Google, and ask the question your best customer would ask.

"Who's good for [your service] in Singapore?"

Did your business come up?

If it did, lovely. This page will help you stay there.

If it didn't, you're not alone. And it's rarely because you're not good at what you do.

It's usually because the internet doesn't have a clear, consistent answer about you.

Your opening hours say one thing on Google and another on your website. Your service pages are a list of bullet points. Your FAQs exist only in your head.

So when a search engine or an AI assistant goes looking for an answer to quote…

it finds your competitor's clear answer instead of your vague one.

Here's the part most "AI strategy" sales pitches leave out.

Google itself says the best practices for SEO still apply to its AI features, and that there are no extra requirements or special optimisations needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode.[1]

No secret file. No magic acronym.

Just the fundamentals, done properly and kept up.

That's not glamorous. It is, however, exactly the work most small businesses never get round to.

So we do it for you.

Want to be the answer, not the also-ran? Start with a website built to be found, then build visibility on top.

Is AI search different from SEO?

Mostly no, and that's good news. Google says optimising for its AI features is still SEO, rooted in its core ranking and quality systems (Google Search Central). What changes is that answers matter more than rankings. Pages that answer real questions clearly, with consistent facts behind them, are the ones AI tools can quote.

Why most SEO never pays for itself

Rankings for words nobody searches

A report full of "page one" positions looks impressive. If those terms don't bring enquiries, it's decoration.

Shortcuts that come back to bite

Buying links to manipulate rankings is against Google's spam policies.[2] It can work for a while, until it doesn't, and the clean-up costs more than the shortcut saved.

Facts that don't match

Different phone numbers, old addresses and half-filled profiles make you harder to trust, for people and for machines. Google says businesses with complete and accurate information are more likely to show up in local results.[3]

Mystery instead of method

Acronyms and "proprietary AI strategies" make it hard to know what you're actually paying for. You deserve to see the work.

The Answer-First Visibility Stack

Five layers, built in order, each one making the next more effective. It's the same foundation for Google Search, AI Overviews and AI assistants.

  1. Consistent business facts.

One name, address, phone number, set of hours and list of services, everywhere.

  2. A complete Google Business Profile.

Verified, categorised, with photos, services and replies to reviews.

  3. Answer-first pages.

Each service page answers the main question in the first lines, then backs it up with detail, proof and FAQs.

  4. Technical health.

Crawlable, fast, well linked, with structured data that matches what's visible on the page.

  5. Genuine authority.

Real mentions and listings on relevant, trusted sites. Never bought.

Who is it for?

  • Service businesses in Singapore that don't come up when clients search, or ask AI, for what they do
  • Owners who've been quoted a mysterious "AI strategy" and want the practical version
  • Firms with a decent website that's thin on service pages, FAQs or local signals

How does it work?

  1. Discovery:

keyword and question research across classic search and AI prompts.

  2. Audit:

technical, content and local checks; a prioritised fix list.

  3. Fix the foundations:

business details, Google Business Profile, technical issues, schema.

  4. Answer-first content:

rewrite or create service pages and FAQs in your clients' words.

  5. Authority:

    targeted, genuine mentions and listings.

  6. Track and refine monthly.

Proof, the honest way

We won't show you screenshots of rankings we can't verify, or traffic graphs from nameless clients. Here's what Google itself publishes, and how we'd approach a real business.

What Google says

  • No extra requirements

    – Google says there are no additional requirements or special optimisations needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode; SEO fundamentals apply.[1]

  • Relevance, distance, prominence

    – the three main factors Google lists for local results. Complete, accurate details and reviews feed into them.[3]

  • Higher-quality clicks

    – Google reports that people who click through from results pages with AI Overviews are more likely to spend more time on the site.[1]

Example: a two-partner family law practice

Example scenario – not a client result

Illustrative scenario to show how the work fits together. Not a client result.

  • Background: Good reputation, mostly referrals, a five-page website from several years ago.
  • Challenge: Prospective clients ask very specific questions ("How long does an uncontested divorce take in Singapore?"). The site has no answers, the Google profile lists an old phone number, and the firm doesn't come up when people ask AI assistants for recommendations.
  • What we'd do: Fix the business details everywhere; complete the Google Business Profile; write answer-first pages for each practice area with FAQs drawn from real client questions; add matching structured data; secure genuine listings in relevant legal directories.
  • What we'd measure: Search impressions and clicks for practice-area questions, profile actions (calls, directions, website visits), AI answers that mention the firm when we test the agreed questions, and enquiries by source.

What we promise, and what we won't

We will

  • Show you exactly what we've fixed, written and built
  • Use only genuine mentions and listings
  • Write in your clients' words, not jargon
  • Report honestly, including what hasn't moved yet

We won't

  • Guarantee first-page rankings or ChatGPT mentions. Nobody controls those
  • Buy links or use tricks that put your site at risk
  • Sell you an "AI file" you don't need

FAQ

How much does it cost?

S$800 a month billed quarterly (S$2,400 per quarter), or S$1,000 a month on monthly billing. Prices are in Singapore dollars.

How long does SEO or AI search take to work?

It depends on your industry, competition and how much needs fixing, so we don't promise timelines or rankings. Fixing inconsistent business details and a thin Google profile is quick; building strong service pages and genuine mentions takes steady, ongoing work.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings or ChatGPT mentions?

No. Nobody controls Google's rankings or what an AI tool says. We focus on the things that make you easier to find and quote, and we report honestly on what changes.

Do I need an llms.txt file?

Not to get started. Google says no special AI files are needed for its AI features. We prioritise your business details, profile and pages first.

Can I do my own SEO?

Yes. Our blog covers the basics, starting with how to get mentioned by ChatGPT and GEO, AEO and LLMO explained. If you want it done for you, that's what this service is for.
