Yes, we’re actually excited about 2022.
Since mid 2020, the world has been “cancelled”, as they say, and the way we work has taken a huge turn. While some of us have been hit harder than others, many of us have also found ways to make adjustments and changes to help us bounce back up.
It’s this spirit of progress that keeps us at Roquepress going. We have some ambitious goals set out for ourselves and some great initiatives for our clients – old and new – coming this year.
But before we share all the exciting updates, we’d like to first say a word of thanks to those of you who have supported us since the beginning. Having clients who trust us to deliver quality websites and digital marketing support has propelled us from a tiny agency to a tough one that always strives to learn and find new ways to survive the challenges that time (and the pandemic) always swings at us.
In 2021, we completed more than 40 projects all thanks to our new and proven, effective method called Content-First Design!
In 2022, we want to build on this momentum. We want to expand our family involving the Roquepress team and our clients, and take everyone with us to new heights.
Here are some updates we would like to share with you:
New office: We’re in Ubi Techpark!
The first step we took in the direction of growth is to expand our working space. We are no longer sharing our office with partner companies (although we miss them!).
Our new office is located at 10 Ubi Crescent, Ubi Techpark #05-08 Lobby A Singapore 408564. We use this space for client meetings, team discussions, onboarding project chats, and to do our deep work without distractions. It also doubles up as a studio where we record our YouTube videos. We’re blessed to have put this in place amidst all the chaos that the world is going through right now with the pandemic.

New focus: Content-First Design
Last year, we did a LOT.
But we want to talk about one thing that we want to share from our learnings as website creators.
And that’s the need to focus on Content-First Design.
What’s that, you ask?
Content-First Design is an approach where the content of your project determines the look or design of your website. At Roquepress, we’ve realised that website projects tend to stretch and get difficult if a client doesn’t have any content ready before deciding to create a website.
This is why one of the first things we do when you approach us is to go through an inventory of the content you have before we talk about design and development.
Think of it as prep work. Even before you want to start a project with us, you should have these content ready:
- Text
- Photos
- Videos
- Charts
- Tables
- Links
What happens if you don’t have these things ready? Then you’re going to end up spending more for us to consult and create content for you. Not only will that cost you more, but you’ll also be stretching everyone’s patience and time with the preparation of the content, eventually delaying the launch of your website.
One of the most important types of businesses that will benefit from this approach is the e-commerce business.
This is why in 2021, we’re offering to help 5 e-commerce businesses build their website at no cost*.
Yes, you read that right.
What’s the catch?
No catch, just the following requirements to meet:
- ACRA registered business in Singapore
Have their Content-First Design ready - Willing to invest in at least the PRO Mulacan plan
- Have a maximum of 20 products, variations included
- Requires a complex-free website (complicated custom work will be charged separately)
- Be cool and excited to join our client family!
It’s a pretty straightforward criteria list.
